Footsteps to the Future at Trinity Methodist Church Ellesmere Port
Trinity Methodist Church, Ellesmere Port has been re-imagining what it means to be the church in the centre of a town where the neighbours rank among the poorest and most deprived in the country. After five years of discernment and fund raising, the physical transformation of the building is now underway to make place where all can find welcome and both rest and activity, open seven days per week, whilst retaining the distinctiveness of being a place of Christian spirituality. Whilst most activities continue in other parts of the building, for the time being Sunday Worship is shared with friends at Little Sutton
See the presentation given to the September Circuit Meeting updating on the progress to date.
There is a detailed business plan in place, the summary of which is attached: Business Plan Summary
This is now coming to the critical point where the building needs to be substantially but sensitively reconfigured to meet the changing needs of both church and society.
